This past June the
Most Precious Blood Alumni
Association had its 1st Annual
Alumni Reunion Picnic. 102 people
were in attendance enjoying a
nostalgic and fun-filled day. There
was an assortment of activities to
choose from as many took to playing
wiffleball, volleyball and
basketball. After dinner was served
and the guided tours were over there
was a brief program set up to
highlight the Alumni Association and
its mission. This event helped bring
together a variety of alumni from
the 1970's through 2007. Although
each alumni may have had a different
story to tell, this event helped
bring home the fact we all came from
the same place.
Our Alumni Association's mission is
to build a network of past students
who care deeply about the future of
MPB. We want to ensure that future
generations have the opportunity to
benefit from the education that we
all received.
The Alumni Picnic was
our kickoff fundraiser and since
then we have continued to get closer
and closer to reaching our financial
goal. New alumni are being recruited
and new events are being planned
each day. The Alumni Reunion Picnic
successfully reminded each graduate
that there always was, and still is
something very special about Most
Precious Blood School.
